Ras Jéh is a musician, percussionist and Nyabinghi man. He is a rastaman globetrotter and everywhere he goes he does music, arts whith kalabash and he builds Nyabinghi drums, which are the traditional percussions of Jamaica.
Ras Jéh manufactures them according to the tradition, with a system of wooden slats to form the barrels.
And since Ras Jéh likes to keep himself busy he also hand-carves these fantastic lights and water bottles out of Calabash, also known as bottle gourd, which were one of the first cultivated plants in the world, grown not for food but as a container!
