Yellow Cosmic Seed Year

MOON 10 PLANETARY MOON OF MANIFESTATION VOL. 1 NO. 10

April 04 to May 01 2006

How do I perfect what I do?

Blessings to all, and welcome ohm to Moon 10, where the heavens touch the earth, as spirit and matter unite to manifest on our earth plane. This 28 day cycle brings our Reggae JUNO nominees back from Halifax; Odel helps brings hope and hoops to Swaziland; Boogiewall Soundsystem says thanks and praises; Red Serpent Wavespell brings us 10-in-a-row Galactic Activation Portals; the Ascended Masters return to the grid to form the Paradise Matrix; Ayurvedic Medicine brings us tasty recipes for Spring Equinox; Sadhanas help us build healthy communities; Centennial Albert Hoffman reminds us to stay in touch with Nature's Beauty; Fungi Phlebia Radiata shows a healthy appetite for explosives; and Dog Medicine teaches us to be good and loyal to our friends.

Much appreciation to all the Reggae artists that participated in the JUNO Awards as it is always good to see a community of musicians and artists to come together and collectively represent the spirit of Reggae music.

A special congratulations goes out to Blessed (Reggae Time - Explorer/ Universal) for winning the JUNO in the Reggae Recording Of The Year 2006 category. Also congratulations to all the other nominees including our very own Odel Johnson (Mind & Body Sold - Ohm Grown Records/Universal); Jah Beng (River Of Healing - Kornerstone), Truths and Rights (Live Up - Big Wig Productions) and Carl Henry (Hot Gal feat. Rally Bop - CeSoul/DEP/Universal).

Also a special gratitide to all the players of instruments that gathered as friends and helped bring a conscious Reggae vibration to this year's JUNO ceremonies.

Odel Johnson Vocals and Hand Drums; Charles Sinclair Bass; Orville Malcolm Guitar and Keyboards; Dave Jackson Keyboards; Bernie Pitters Keyboards; Tony "Rebeltone" Barrett Guitar; O'Niel Fuller Drums; Isax Saxophone and Keyboards.

Thank you for continously perfecting what you do!

A rare opporunity to catch Odel live in Toronto as the touring schedule is starting to fill up is at the Original Motorcycle Club on Thursday April 06. Co-Presented by Hoops For Hope and the St. Albans Boys and Girls Club and supported by Canadian Reggae World and The Nature of Hope, the night is a fundraiser to help relieve the suffering in Swaziland.

Autonomy for the Swazis of southern Africa was guaranteed by the British in the late 19th century; independence was granted in 1968. Student and labor unrest during the 1990s pressured the monarchy (one of the oldest on the continent) to grudgingly allow political reform and greater democracy, according to the CIA Fact Book.

Swaziland recently surpassed Botswana as the country with the world's highest known rates of HIV/AIDS infection.

Using basketball as a vehicle for change, Concrete Hoops has worked over the last five years to build youth leadership, and facilitate HIV/AIDS and anti-poverty initiatives, which are sustainable and socially conscious. Concrete Hoops provides a new direction in basketball education by offering positive programs which help in the social, emotional and physical development of Canada's youth and youth around the world.

This is a free concert, but tickets to the Hoops For Hope fundraiser are available from the St. Alban Boys and Girls Club and need to be purchased in advance for $25. Contact: Anna Sturino (416) 534 8461 Ext. 227 (anna@stalbansclub.ca)

A special thank you also goes out to all the friends, family and fans that came out for our Boogiewall Soundsystem show last Thursday March 16, 2006 (Red Crystal Earth Day) as part of our on-going Nature Of Hope campaign.

A very special thank you goes out to Reggae archivist D.B. Hawks for capturing the live show and airing it on CIUT. More perfomance dates for Boogiewall Soundsystem will be announced soon.

Blessings and gratitude to the players of instruments: Lisa Wilby Keyboards; Prince Blanco Percussions; Bernie Pitters Keyboards; Sarah Mcelcren Trumpet; TK2000 Lead Vocals and Melodica; Odel Johnson Drums; Chris Bottomley Hand Drums; Toni New York Bass; Tony "Rebeltone" Barrett; Guitar.

Good news from our Galaxy as the Earth is currently travelling through a giant beam of light eminating from the centre of our galaxy and heading towards the completion of the Age of Pisces and towards the enlightened water-bearing Age of Aquarius.

Moon 10 brings us the planetary manifestations of our collective spells, mantras and prayers we have previously cast into the universe, and it also brings us the Red Serpent Wavespell. Due to its placement in the 260-day Tzolkin cycle, the Red Serpent Wavespell always brings the 10-in-a-row-galactic-activation-portals !!! The portals begin on Tone 2 of the Serpent Wavespell, White Lunar Worldbridger (Kin 106; Planetary 11; April 14) and span through Tone 11, Blue Spectral Eagle (Kin 115; Planetary 20; April 23).

What is a galactic activation portal? Within the 260 energies of the Harmonic Module, 52 of them are called portals for they form the "Loom" on which the entire matrix is woven upon.

On portal days, one can expect heightened energies; access to amplified awareness and sensory experience; greater opportunity for information exchange and multi-dimensional insights. Let us also note the standard college dictionary definition of PORTAL: "An entrance, door, or gate, especially one that is grand and imposing."

May we invite the power of these portals to activate dormant potential and evolutionary transformation!

One of the most profound energetic events that has ever happened on this planet took place recently, but most of us missed it. It's not because we were sleeping, or that perhaps we were not looking. But rather it's because, we were not expecting it, and if we had really seen it, we would not have believed it.

On March 05, a grand event occurred. Some saw it and named it. It was called the Paradise Matrix. The Paradise Matrix has been called "Ascension Day." It was a moment in time, yet out of time, when all of the Masters who had ever lived on this planet came back to Gaia.

They returned!

If we recall, most of them had said they were coming back in some form or another, and their time of return would be when peace on Earth was imminent!

This promise of return, for all of them, has now been fulfilled. They're here right now - not their biological bodies, but their combined consciousness.

This combined ascension consciousness resides perfectly on a tuned magnetic grid, one that took 12 years to accomplish. And that perfectly tuned magnetic grid was created so that this master energy could reside upon it. As they reside upon it, the energy that it generates is then transferred to your DNA as a potential of manifestation.

The grid's energetic shift was like a "bed" that was then prepared for this master energy and has become a catalyst that allows the grid to work as a master transmitter to our DNA.

This information that is transmitted, however, is only that ... an interdimensional transmission. You are the receiver, and through free choice, you can now "tune in" - or not - to this beautiful, balanced energy.

We can now see how it "shakes hands" with the Venus Transit that has been occuring on this planet bringing much needed feminine energy for overall balance.

March 20, 2006 (Red Electric Dragon) marked the Spring Equinox. The Sun is at its lowest path in the sky on the Winter Solstice. After that day the Sun follows a higher and higher path through the sky each day until it is in the sky for exactly 12 hours.

On the Spring Equinox the Sun rises exactly in the East travels through the sky for 12 hours and sets exactly in the West. On the Equinox this is the motion of the Sun through the sky for everyone on earth. Every place on earth experiences a 12 hours day twice a year on the Spring and Fall Equinox.

In Ayurvedic Medicine, the earth element (spleen-stomach) has a strong influence over the 15 days surrounding each of the 2 equinoxes and the 2 solstices (7.5 before and after). These interchange periods represent pivotal pauses in the light patterns we experience from the sun, the center of our solar system.

Ayurveda (pronounced I-your-vay-da), said to be a world medicine, is the most holistic or comprehensive medical system available. Ayurveda stresses the concept of balance in healing. One can learn to heal themselves or remain healthy by staying in balance. According to Ayurveda, all diseases begin at the junction that occurs before the seasons because it is at this time that the individual doshas are quick to fall out of balance. We are therefore urged to cross these seasonal junctions gently and with care.

To attune with these pauses, we should choose foods that are harmonizing and represent the center: mildly sweet foods, yellow or golden foods, round foods, and foods known to harmonize the center - millet, corn, carrots, cabbage, chick peas, soybeans, squash, potatoes, string beans, yams, tofu, sweet rice, rice, amaranth, peas, chestnuts, filberts, apricots, and cantaloupe.

Foods should be prepared simply, with a minimum of seasonings and a mild taste. Complicated dishes and food combinations should be avoided. The seasonal interchanges are traditional times of purification in many cultures. A short - perhaps three day - single grain fast during the fall and winter junction, and a vegetable or fruit fast on the cusps of spring and summer, bring one to the "center" during seasonal transitions.

Here are some Ayurvedic recipes to try out for Spring:

1/3c flax/olive oil
4c cooked black eyed peas
3t pureed chipotle peppers salt & pepper to taste

As we are aware meals are best enjoyed in the company of friends and family, and preperation of communal meals can often be the highlight of the day in many healthy cultures in the world!

In Kundalini Yoga the concept of Sadhana is a discipline that moves us to cosmic consciousness and self-realization. To reach this state of enlightenment it is good to master the intermediate state of group consciousness. Doing Sadhana in a group develops a higher sense of community.

At the beginning of sadhnana, everyone has a different vibration. Some have traces of dreams, others are filled with concerns of the day.

The more people there are, the more these individual differences balance and cancel each other out. The happiness of one person balances the sadness of another.

Then, the entire group finds its energy directed by the sadhana itself. The individual auras merge and form a group aura. If the group is well tuned into the infinite, a rainbow aura forms that reflects all colours. One hour of sharing this kind of energy can erase the effects of a week of arguments!!

Great news for communities all around the world as the strength of a community can be measured by the strength of it's group sadhana, and living as part of a healthy and vibrant community can lead to an overall improved and longer life.

Congratulations also to Centennial Albert Hoffman, the father of LSD, as he turned 100 he stays in tune with nature but off the drug he said can be both dangerous and therapeutic.

Hoffman discovered the psychedelic drug in 1938 while researching chemical compounds in plants. He began looking into Ergot, a fungus that grows on cereals, used by midwives to stop post-natal bleeding.

The Basel, Switzerland - based pharmaceutical company where Hoffman worked Sandoz - now Novartis - began selling LSD tablets in 1947 as a psychological disorder treatment. But Hoffman "got a whiff" of LSD during research and began experimenting with it on himself. He said the drug boosted his senses, perceptions and moods. Hoffman also said it was therapeutic for his mind.

He found evidence that Mazatec Indians in Mexico and ancient Greeks used natural LSD for cultural traditions. It was banned around the world in the late 1960s after becoming the poster drug for the hippie culture. He warned it could be dangerous for the mind too, although not addictive. He said he takes walks through the countryside each day and said in recent interview that humans are too reliant on technology and not observant enough of "nature's own beauty."

Seems there is a never ending source of support from nature in our quest to help eliminate the threat of landmines around the world: Could fungus counter the explosive power of dynamite? That's the idea behind a patent filed by Robert Riggs of Texas, US.

When explosives are used for mining or demolition, some may fail to detonate and get lost in the rubble. Riggs reckons the remedy could be to mix pellets of dormant fungal spores in with the explosive charge before inserting the wick into the explosive package.

The dry spores lie dormant while the explosives are in storage. But if the explosive fails to detonate, water from the air should migrate down the wick and into the charge. The spores should then germinate and devour the charge, rendering it harmless.

The white-rot fungus Phlebia Radiata is particularly fond of high explosives, according to the patent.

And the speed at which it gobbles the stuff up depends on the number of pellets added: 5 pellets per stick for slow degradation or 30 to make it safe after just a few days !!

This moonth totem animal is The Dog !!

Throughout history dogs have been known as protectors and guardians. Dogs are known as man's best friend. They serve selflessly never asking for their service to be prasied. They hold the energies of unconditional love and teach us its true meaning.

Dogs are intelligent and sensitive. They are able to sniff out dangerous situations accurately and guide us into safety.

Psychic gifts have long been associated with the dog because of their ability to detect subtle energy frequencies often unknown to mankind. If dog suddenly appears in your life pay attention to your immediate surroundings and let the dog guide your footsteps.

The Dog is a symbol of the small becoming the great. The dog teaches those with this totem how to give and receive love unconditionally.

It also carries the energy of forgiveness. Dog medicine embodies the loving gentleness of best friend and the fierce energy of protector.

This year is called Yellow Cosmic Seed

Moon 10 is called Planetary Moon of Manifestation

Its totem animal is the Dog

The key words to focus on for Planetary Moon of Manifestation include its

Power: Perfect
Action: Produce
Essence: Manifestation

Action Directive: How do I perfect what I do?

Until next Moonth ...
